Bra Donations

Breast Reconstruction Facts

Each year over 250,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Many of these women are eligible for breast reconstruction following surgery, but don’t know their options or have access to the care they need. While 89 percent of women said they want to see breast reconstruction surgery results before undergoing cancer treatment, less than 23 percent of women even know about the wide range of reconstruction procedures available to them. An even smaller 19 percent of women understand the importance of timing between cancer treatment and reconstruction surgery and how greatly it impacts their options and expected results.

Show Your Support

This October, The Polyclinic Plastic Surgery department will be accepting bra donations for breast cancer survivors to help support their reconstruction journey. Donate a new bra (without underwire) or bralette anytime in October, and, as a thank you, you’ll receive 10 percent off any skincare product.

Closing the Loop

All women should understand their reconstruction options; it’s time to close the loop on breast cancer and promote breast reconstruction awareness. Find more information on breast reconstruction awareness at and bring your donations to The Polyclinic Plastic Surgery at Nordstrom Tower throughout October.
