The Polyclinic is pleased to welcome Alaina Garrie, DO to Northgate Plaza.
Dr. Garrie received her medical degree from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. She completed her residency at The Lehigh Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Allentown, Penn. She completed her fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at The Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, N.Y.
Dr. Garrie provides comprehensive primary care to older adults. Her clinical interests include creative aging, patient-centered care plans, cognitive or memory impairment/dementia, fall prevention, advanced care planning, and osteopathic manipulation.
“I am interested in helping people stay active and engaged with life. I am committed to advocating for my patients by creating personalized care plans to help them reach their health goals. My role is also to support patients and their loved ones navigate important health decisions.”
Outside of work, Dr. Garrie enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga, exercising, learning languages, and traveling. She has lived for a month or more in India, Chile, Peru, Israel, Czech Republic, and Italy.
