Dr. Leaf received an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a graduate degree (Honours) from Oxford University. He received his medical degree with Honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine, completed an internship at Stanford University Hospital, and finished his residency at the Oregon Health and Science University. He was then a Fulbright Scholar, teaching and studying tropical dermatology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
Adult and pediatric dermatology; skin cancer screening and surgery; cosmetic dermatology including Botox injections, fillers such as Restylane, and laser surgery.

Dr. Leaf was Chief of Dermatology at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where he received the Resident Physician Teaching Award, twice. Taught at University of Singapore and University of Sydney. He currently teaches residents from Virginia Mason, University of Washington, and Seattle VA Hospitals. Past president of both Seattle Dermatological Society and Washington State Dermatology Association.
